Over the last three decades  Dr. Behman has explored energy healing & has created an Holistic Cranio-Sacral therapy technique, by including the emotional, mental & spiritual aspects of trauma healing. More expanded than that of the Upledger Institute’s technique.

Saturday morning session from 9:30 am to 12 noon

Discussion about the significance of the year 2012 – the day when the Mayan calendar says the world, as we know it, will end. How will this affect us?

What might we do to prepare for this time? How does one deal with the fear that some people are expressing due to this date? Is there a way to live in tranquility as this auspicious date approaches?

Saturday afternoon session from 1:00 to 3:30 pm

This session will begin with a brief discussion of energetic healing. Then Dr. Behman will use one volunteer to illustrate how he uses his version of cranio- sacral to help the person release trauma from some past situation. The afternoon will end with a sound healing meditation, featuring Tibetan bowls.

Dr. Behman will introduce & discuss his healing work which is based on 4 Energies. He is interested in assisting people to live a more holistic & healthy life by using these energies or this energy medicine. He will deal with physical, mental, emotional & spiritual aspects of living. The goal is to create less stress on the central nervous system, to boost the immune system, to gain clarity of mind, to balance the emotions, & to align with one’s soul purpose on one’s spiritual path.

Through awareness & understanding of how to integrate these energy medicines, one can improve the quality of personal life & enrich one’s relationship with Self , with others, within the community, & then with all of Creation.

Afternoon Session 1:00 to 3:30 p.m.

There will be a question & answer period to follow up on the morning’s information. Then, using Tibetan bowls, drums, music, & other sacred sounds, Dr. Fadel will lead a guided group healing meditation.

Spiritual Gathering

All people who are living a spiritual life in these days are aware of the changed vibrations in our communities and on our planet. We know that you are working/living within your own groups, helping to raise the consciousness of those around you through your special methods.

We honour all that you do to assist humanity during these exciting and often turbulent days as we all grow through “The Shift”, in whatever form we each understand this to be.

Winnipeg has for decades had a deeply spiritual underground life. We feel it is time to bring this to the fore, because in the nature of “the one hundredth monkey”, it only takes one-tenth of one percent of a community to change the level of consciousness. That means only 6000 people in Winnipeg, sharing a common understanding of our Divine natures in a physical experience, could make a major shift in the spiritual growth of this city.

The purpose of this gathering is to help us all to know more about what you are doing, spiritually, so we can all share new information, and so that there can be more cooperation amongst our groups as we all move toward ascension and enlightenment.

Walk In Beauty – May 30

Hello to Dreamers, Creative Souls, Seekers and Curious Ones….

Have you ever had a close-up encounter with a wild animal? One of those moments where time fell away, and you found yourself suspended in the eternal now, aware only of this amazing creature that usually dwells far from your everyday world?

And in this forever moment, the rest of your world disappears and this is all there is, you and this animal, this deer, this wolf, this eagle, this dolphin, intimately connected, aware only of each other’s breath, stillness, beauty.

Coming back to your usual world you may find yourself filled with awe, or excitement , or delight . Wow! Did you see that? The magic of that encounter can stay with you for a long time, may even fill you with longing for further moments like it. In the world of Animal Medicine, such experiences are recognized as soul connection and an introduction to one of your spiritual teachers or animal guides.

As people of the earth (that would be all of us!) we each have many animal guides waiting for us to acknowledge them and receive their wise teachings. On May 30th, at the workshop/retreat WALK IN BEAUTY, we will journey to the sound of a drum, entering by our imagination, realms parallel to our own. We may travel there through our imagination, yet the reality of the experience often moves people to silent awe, delighted giddiness, or tearful gratitude.

I have always been both awed and intimidated by horses. Then I met my spirit horse on one of these drumming journeys, and the shared intimacy, the sense of deep knowing of each other as we simply stood, forehead to forehead, filled me with joy that I carry to this day.

I invite you to come and meet the animal who is waiting for you on May 30th, in the workshop/retreat, Walk in Beauty; Dance with the Earth.

We will use SoulCollage (assembling collaged cards to tell our own stories with image), the Labyrinth (a cosmic pattern of walking meditation and a powerful catalyst for creativity), and Dream Journeying to encounter these powerful, magical and generous animals, our guides to the true brilliance of our inner selves.

Saturday, April 18th – No Workshop

There will not be a presentation/mediation this Saturday afternoon, April 18, 2009 because there is a wonderful workshop by Patricia White Buffalo at SNAC all day, April 17-19 inclusive. I suggested that they check out her website as there is still space available.

Also that is where they can find out the latest “flood possibilities” if necessary (it peaks tomorrow apparently), or check our voice mail. (as of 11:00am Thu, April 16th, it is high and close to the parking lot, but still okay!)
